Happy Wednesday All.

Did you know that, as the founder/owner of Lexy's HandMade Creations, I am very passionate about the finding a cure for Leukemia/Lymphoma?

For this years walk I will be adding two more names to the reason why I walk. Already walking in Memory of my PeePaw, I will also be walking for my Step-Dad and a friends cousin Keira.

For a little more information please follow the link to my other blog page for today's post.

I am happy to announce I will be adding Lexy's HandMade Creations as a sponsor of the LLS. For the Months of September thru December 20% of all proceeds will go to help find a cure. I will also add a direct donation link to the side of the blog for your convenience. I hope to have that up by Sep. 1st. So stay tuned for that.

Have a Blessed Day

A Tall Order!!

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

Today I have a customer stopping in to hack out the details of a specific order she is interested in. This is going to be an Epic creation for me, as I have never attempted to make the item she asking me to do.
The good news is it will give me the ability to blog about it and let you all know about my progress. So what is it that I have been asked to make?
  Take a look.
That's right. I am going to attempt to find or make a pattern for this beautiful Hoodie Sweater from Blue Crush 2.
Today we will sit down and go over the knitty gritty. What kind of yarn she wants, take measurements and price out the materials to accomplish this great task.
So Stay tuned for progress reports. They will include The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, and hopefully the completion of a beautiful work of art.

Have a Blessed Day

As you all know I have been slowly trying to get my blog to a more appealing user friendly state.
Thanks to some tips from the fabulous Lorene over at Cre8tion Crochet, I feel like I am finally making some descent progress.
Blogging, crafting and marketing are all unique trades. They take time, effort and organization. And doing all three is like being a magician juggling acrobat.
Now try doing it with very little experience, knowledge of how to do what to achieve your desired outcome. Which, as a crafter, is to use your blog as a marketing tool to sell your items.
So, as I continue to tweak my blog, I want to thank Lorene for her help and you, my followers, for your continued support.
Have a Blessed Day
Lexy
P.S. Please stop in and check out Lorene's blog. If you are a fellow crafter she has a ton of awesome patterns available.
